Photographing the Fighters: A Portrait Session with C.A. Goldberg - The Feminist Law Firm

There are shoots that are about people. And then there are shoots that are about purpose.

Photographing the team at C.A. Goldberg wasn’t just another headshot session. It was about visually capturing the essence of a law firm that stands unapologetically on the front lines of justice. Known for taking on cases involving sexual assault, stalking, blackmail, and online harassment, this Brooklyn-based firm isn’t afraid to go where others won’t. Their work is bold. Fearless. Relentlessly human.

So their portraits had to reflect that.

We chose to shoot right outside the Brooklyn courthouse, placing the team quite literally in the shadow of the justice system they challenge and navigate every day. The setting added weight and grit to every frame, with urban textures, honest light, and the energy of the city they fiercely serve.

The goal was to match their newly rebranded website and visual identity with portraits that felt cohesive and intentional. Every image was color graded and curated to align with the muted, powerful tones of their branding. Grounded. Warm. Assertively modern. We wanted the imagery to feel like their work: clear, courageous, and real.

From individual headshots to team portraits and environmental moments, we created a unified library that lets their mission speak for itself.

This wasn’t about looking polished. It was about looking powerful.

If your team’s work carries that kind of impact, let’s talk. Your brand deserves photography that doesn’t just show who you are, but what you stand for.
